About this book

The Tiny Language Protocol explores two constructed languages — Toki Pona and Lojban — as practical tools for clearer thinking, structured communication and AI-era language design.

Toki Pona reduces meaning to a small vocabulary and asks what remains when language is compressed to its human essentials. Lojban moves in the opposite direction: explicit structure, logical relations and grammatical precision.

Together, they form a practical operational method:

  • reduce the intention,
  • specify the structure,
  • return to clear natural language.

The book is not a complete textbook for either language. Instead, it treats both systems as design pressures that reveal hidden assumptions inside ordinary communication.

Through examples from philosophy, mathematics, Stoicism, translation, AI prompting and scientific explanation, the project explores how constrained languages can improve:

  • reasoning,
  • prompt design,
  • semantic clarity,
  • translation workflows,
  • structured communication,
  • and AI-assisted thinking.

The book belongs to the broader ABVX language-systems ecosystem around toki pona, semantic compression, operational language design and AI-native communication systems.
