About this book

Agri-Commodity Brokerage is the adapted English edition of the MN7R practical guide for brokers working with physical grain and oilseed markets.

It is not a word-for-word translation of the Ukrainian edition. The structure, practical logic and brokerage discipline remain connected, but the English edition is written for a wider international audience: broker teams, traders, operators and market participants working across Europe and other grain and oilseed markets.

The guide explains the market from the ground up:

  • what grains, oilseeds and primary processing products are;
  • how physical commodity deals work;
  • what brokers, traders, exporters, importers, processors and logistics participants actually do;
  • how offers, bids, matches, trades, contracts and execution connect;
  • why deals often die before becoming real business;
  • why basis, freight, logistics and quality matter;
  • what risks new brokers usually underestimate;
  • and why modern brokerage needs structured data, clean client context, execution discipline and a proper working monitor.

The book is written as a practical guide rather than an academic textbook. It is for people who work in the market, are entering the profession, manage broker teams, come from logistics or trading, or want to understand how agri-commodity brokerage works when the product is physical, the logistics are real and almost agreed is still not a deal.

Inside the MN7R ecosystem, the English edition extends the publishing line beyond Ukrainian and Black Sea market context. It keeps the same practical DNA, but widens the frame for international readers and future versions of the MN7R Commodity Brokerage Library.

Future work around the line may include more regional examples, practical cases, deeper logistics and basis sections, additional editions and broader material on client portfolio management, reference data, data interoperability and AI-assisted brokerage operations.
