I have absolutely no idea why someone made this. But I'm incredibly glad it exists.
Someone turned the concept of a web crawler into an actual digital spider.
A glowing, eight-legged creature crawling across text, links, and references on a web page.
It's a creative coding experiment built with JavaScript and CSS, turning something normally invisible into a strangely beautiful digital creature.
Is it useful? Probably not.
Is it mesmerizing? Absolutely.
Sometimes the internet produces something that doesn't need a purpose. It just needs to exist.
This is why I still love the weird side of the internet.
