Think you know what's running inside your Claude Code sessions?
You might be surprised.
Meet /stack, a free, open-source Claude Code mod that reveals practically everything installed, configured, and available in your AI coding environment.
And if you're using Claude Code regularly, this is one tool worth checking out.
Here's what /stack shows you:
Skills: Every installed skill and where it comes from
Subagents: Available AI agents and their configurations
Commands: Built-in and custom slash commands
Hooks: Scripts and automation running during your sessions
MCP servers: Connected external tools and integrations
Plugins and mods: Additional features installed in Claude Code
Settings and memory: Configuration and context files affecting behavior
Output styles: Custom instructions controlling how Claude responds
Everything appears in an interactive dashboard, organized by configuration scope: Enterprise, User, Project, Local, Plugin, and CLI flags.
But here's where it gets really useful.
You can see what's actually active, what's disabled, and what's being overridden by another configuration.
Ever wondered why Claude suddenly behaves differently between projects?
Or why your sessions seem to consume so many tokens?
Or which MCP servers, skills, and instructions are actually being loaded?
/stack helps you investigate what's happening under the hood.
And there's another interesting bonus.
You can explore built-in Claude Code commands, skills, and subagents, including components you might never have noticed in the documentation.
Install /stack:
npx claude-code-templates@latest --mod ui/stack-viewer
Then open Claude Code and run:
/stack
The mod scans your environment and displays the results in an interactive side panel.
It's a configuration inspector, not a direct token profiler, but understanding what's loaded is an excellent starting point for troubleshooting bloated or unpredictable sessions.
Because sometimes the problem isn't the AI model. It's the enormous stack of things you've quietly installed around it.
Save this one. You'll probably need it.
