Can six still photos become a cinematic short film? In this behind-the-scenes breakdown, we show how photographs of Pokras Lampas’s “Seals of Good Intentions” became a moving scene with layered images, a shallow 3D set, camera motion and sound.
We walk through preserving the photographed calligraphy, building the environment, directing the camera and changing the soundtrack after feedback. The wide environment is a creative reconstruction, including a generated background — not newly filmed documentary footage of the location.
