While the AI industry keeps reinventing plugins, connectors, apps, and marketplaces, Nous Research has decided to put everything in one place. Meet Hermes Marketplace, the official plugin and skill directory for Hermes Agent. And this is becoming a seriously interesting ecosystem. The marketplace already lists more than 1,000 plugins, bringing together AI agent skills, MCP servers, model integrations, creative tools, automation systems, and community extensions. Here's what makes Hermes Marketplace interesting. The ecosystem supports a portable plugin format called Portable Agent Plugins v1. A package can combine: MCP servers: Give Hermes access to external applications and tools. Agent skills: Teach Hermes how to use those tools effectively. Configuration: Define the tools, dependencies, and settings required for the workflow. In other words, you're not just installing a collection of API endpoints. You're giving your agent new capabilities and instructions for using them. And some of the new integrations are genuinely exciting. 1. Claude Subscription DirectSDK This might be one of the most interesting additions. It lets Hermes Agent use your existing Claude Pro or Max subscription through the official Claude Code CLI. No separate Anthropic API key. No separate per-token API bill. Hermes keeps its own agent loop, tools, memory, approvals, and session management while Claude handles model inference. Install: hermes plugins install claude-subscription-directsdk Then select the provider through hermes model. There's a catch, of course. This is an experimental integration, and requests consume your existing Claude subscription allowance. It isn't unlimited free inference. 2. Blender Lab MCP Now we're getting to the creative stuff. Hermes can connect directly to Blender through the official Blender Lab MCP integration. The plugin provides tools for inspecting and modifying 3D scenes, executing Blender operations, and automating production workflows. It also includes a specialized Blender skill. And if the required software isn't installed, the workflow can help set it up. The installer downloads Blender 5.1 or newer, verifies the downloaded files using SHA-256 checksums, and installs it into your user directory after approval. Install: hermes plugins install blender One security consideration: the Blender integration can execute Python inside Blender, so review the workflow and permissions before enabling it. 3. TouchDesigner MCP This one is particularly interesting for generative art, interactive installations, and real-time graphics. Hermes can control a running TouchDesigner session through an MCP server. That opens up possibilities for working with: Procedural visuals Interactive animations Audio-reactive graphics GLSL shaders Real-time creative environments Install: hermes plugins install touchdesigner The integration connects to a local TouchDesigner MCP endpoint on port 40404. 4. Memory Wiki Ever wondered what your autonomous agent actually remembers about you and your projects? Memory Wiki introduces a visual dashboard for exploring Hermes' persistent memory. You can browse subject pages, daily activity logs, and information derived from your previous sessions. It also provides a read-only inspection panel for MEMORY.md and USER.md. Finally, a way to see what your AI thinks it knows about you. Install: hermes plugins install hermes-memory-wiki 5. Telegram Business Mode And here's something useful for people running businesses. Hermes can act as a Telegram Business assistant. It reads incoming customer messages, prepares suggested replies, and sends the drafts to you for approval. You can: Send the suggested response Edit it Discard it Nothing gets sent to the customer until you explicitly approve it. Install: hermes plugins install hermes-telegram-business This is currently an experimental Hermes Labs plugin, rather than a fully supported official integration. But here's what I find most interesting about the entire marketplace. Want Claude reasoning inside Hermes? Connect your subscription. Want an agent that works in Blender? Install the MCP integration. Want automated business communications? Add Telegram. Want real-time generative visuals? Connect TouchDesigner.
