About this book
Heart Sutra in toki pona / sitelen pona is a free compact edition of the Heart Sutra built as a multilingual reading experiment.
The edition places the text across several layers: traditional Chinese, toki pona, English orientation and sitelen pona. This makes the work useful both as a short Buddhist text and as a study object for readers interested in translation, compression and visual-script reading.
Rather than treating toki pona as a simplified substitute for the source, the edition uses the language as a constraint. The small vocabulary forces each phrase to become slower, more deliberate and easier to compare across writing systems.
